Sarah Ludwig is the Academic Technology Coordinator at Hamden Hall Country Day School in Hamden, CT. She began her career as the director of library services at Wilbraham & Monson Academy, a boarding school in Massachusetts. From 2008-10, she worked at Darien Library, where she managed teen, technology, and reference services.
Sarah writes a lot after her daughter goes to bed, including for her two regular columns on the ALA Techsource blog and VOYA’s Tag Team Tech Column. She’s blogged for YALSA and has been published in Public Libraries and YALS. ABC-CLIO published Sarah’s book, Starting from Scratch: Building a Teen Library Program, in June 2011.
In 2010, Sarah was selected as an American Library Association Emerging Leader. She is an instructor for Simmons College’s continuing education program. Sarah’s speaking highlights include appearing as a speaker at YALSA’s Midwinter Institute in January 2012 and presenting on embedded school librarianship at Computers in Libraries in March 2012.
Sarah lives with her family in southern Connecticut, where she makes ham-fisted attempts at domesticity.
